Hello! My name is Maria Espinosa Ventura. I am from Mexico but I have moved 5 times, from Mexico to South Africa, Texas, Michigan and now I live in California. I am a piano player, a tennis player, a sewer, and a songwriter. I considered myself a very messy and creative person, which I know there are a lot of people out there who are the same. I am currently fourteen years old and will be turning fifteen on January 17th. I have always had many dreams and goals for myself, and I want them to come true. My number one is becoming a writer, anything that has to do with writing I will do it. Which is why I have started this blog. 

 

Growing up I have always loved to talk, rant and gossip about all the weird and fun topics that I could come up with my friends. But ever since I have moved to California and left my amazing friend group behind, it became difficult to connect the same way with other people. But now I have been able to adjust to a new environment. Which gave me the idea of my blog named Girlhood Necessities. In this blog I will be pouring my thoughts and ideas into each piece that I write. From two week challenges that others can read about, to many random topics I will talk about, and my thoughts on certain experiences and lessons that I have learned. I want this blog to become a safe space for girls and anybody who is interested in reading through my life and all the things that wander in a teenage girl's mind. Almost as if I am taking you with me on my journey of girlhood.
