Ho Ho Ho Merry ChristmasđI hope you are all having the bestest day ever! Today is a special day, which means I will be making a special post. A SCRAPBOOK BLOG POST! As long as I can remember I have always celebrated Christmas with my grandparents. The food. The laughter. The traditions. The gifts. The love. Everything about it is very special. One of the bestest parts is capturing all of those memories in selfies, pictures, videos!
Let's start off with an exclusive family picture....aw we all look so cute and lovable. Was this the only picture we took? No no no we took about a thousand. But I look better in this one than the other ones...
My brother sent this to one of his friends and she said it was obvious that I was the one from California. She's right though because I am the only wearing the brightest sparkle pink dress. Here we are Pidiendo Posadas. I looked it up on the internet because I have zero clue how to translate that. Two things that popped up were dwelling and lodging. During this tradition what we do is we split up into two mini groups. One goes outside and is the one who is pidiendo posada, they also get to have the fun popper candles (I forgot what they were called). The other group is inside and they are receiving them. These two groups take turns as they read/sing of off the papers...I personally love hearing my dad singing it.
Selfies Selfies Selfies! My mom and I look so alike..call us sisters? We can get pretty entertained with the selfie taking progress. I've got to say each pose got better and better each time. Here we are doing the infamous peace sign pose... including my kissy face...you can never go wrong with that.
This was me after taking a thousand years trying to get a good picture of my back but ended up giving up because I hate my side profile and I thought it would look better (I looked like the standing emoji đ§ââď¸) Clearly I have a thing for hand signs. Oh and I think during this picture my grandma was telling someone how much of a cute flirt I was...YES!
Here I was listening to one of my older cousins talking about one of their projects that was biology related obviously more complex but the only thing I understood was protein and bacteria...then I kinda got lost. I sure did have a lot of cider though!
This was me after the night ended and I was dead because it was 2:30am. Here I was also realizing that I was so in the moment during presents that I didn't take any pictures about it for my blog...but so far all of these are cute so it doesn't really matter!
I absolutely love this post. Mostly because of the pictures because I didn't write as much but I know you guys will also love seeing this! Stay tuned for my new years post because I will be doing a WHOLE talk about my plan for 2024. Merry Christmas everyone! I love you guys so much.
Bye Bye
