Hi beautiful people! It is April 16th one day before the opening of my musical. If I am being completely honest I am excited, I am not as nervous as I thought I was going to be. But maybe it's because I donāt have many lines to memorize or many lines that I could mess up on (I have 4). Being in the musical hasnāt only helped me a lot with my acting but also with my makeup skills. I have always loved makeup, especially using blush, highlighter and overall just being able to have fun with it. When I got my makeup done for my Quinceanera party I was in complete shock. The flawness of the makeup took my breath away, I looked like a filter. I am being dead serious when I say that I looked like a snapchat filter or those beauty filters on Instagram. From that point on I have wanted to start doing my makeup like the pros. Obviously I am not talking about doing full glam for my everyday routine, just the basics but taking them to the next level.Ā
My Makeup Goal-Ā
I know a lot of people have probably heard about the Copy and Paste makeup look. Recently I have been loving that kind of makeup look. The base is the best part that I like, it isnāt so clean girl glossy but it also isnāt so 2016 matte kind of look. You know where Iām getting at? I want the perfect mixture of both and I think that the Copy and Paste look is absolutely perfect for this.Ā
Less blush. I know for people that have known me these past two years know that my blush is insane. Donāt worry, I know that I am putting on a lot of blush every morning. At first I thought it was because my lighting was horrible during the mornings but now I have realized that I genuinely like that red blushing look. But I have tossed that out the window!Ā
Small eyeliner. Lately I have been playing around with different eyeliner looks. Some have been really bold while others have been pretty simple and cute. I think since I will be doing a half full base I think I will be going light on the eyeliner. Kind of like the eyeliner Lana Del Rey started wearing recently during Coachella.Ā

Another big thing is especially since summer is around the corner I want to have a no makeup kind of makeup. Light makeup with good coverage that will last me all day, like, ALL DAY, summer is wild (aka my summer will be filled with my boyfriend and I trying new things)Ā depending on what I am doing so I definitely want to look good without having to worry about my makeup coming off. That is where having good primer and setting spray comes in handy! I will show you guys some pictures of my new makeup that I got during my musical time! I will be showing Mariaās new makeup routine!Ā

I think makeup for me is such a fun way to play around with my looks and honestly just have fun with it! I hope you guys liked this mini new makeup routine, it turned out amazing and I have so much more to learn especially new techniques. For now, I am happy with how my routine for makeup turned out.
