Bonjour! Today has been quite a good day, I tried a Taco Bell taco for the first time and l finally got a solo! I am opening my choir's song with the beginning of "When Will My Life Begin". It's kind of ironic that my first solo is a verse of this song, because it IS starting to be the beginning of my many choir moments.
Besides choir, tacos, and writing another big thing that I love is clothes and fashion. I have gone through many phases of fashion but now I am just a bundle of every aesthetic combined. One day I am wearing mini skirts and the next I am wearing cargos with a baggy tee. I love that about fashion. You can dress however you want, which is why I am giving out winter outfit inspiration because who said you couldn't be cute and cold at the same time?
Cozy Winter Aesthetic~
When it comes to being cozy and cute I think of lots of cute layering. From big puff jackets to scarfs. I love scarfs, they make any outfit 10 times cuter. They add texture to the outfit and that cozy feeling that you are under a little warm nest. But of course a cozy outfit isn't a cozy outfit unless it involves the most big and comfiest sweatpants in your closet. Sometimes people think that sweatpants can't be worn as a cute outfit, just a lazy outfit. But excuse me, no, it can be both. And don't forget to add lots of color to your outfit. Whether you are going for a beige tone outfit or a bright outfit, you can do both!
Street Wear Aesthetic~
The one and only Bella Hadid is the queen of street wear, which is why I love this kind of look. It screams cool non-chalant girl who wears whatever she wants. This look requires jackets, sweatshirts, jackets, sweatshirts. Combined. Very cool girl especially with any kind of baggy jeans. I used to think that baggy and baggy never went together but come on it's winter, the time for comfort and that effortless look. To top of the cool girl outfit a sleek back bun is just what the outfit needs to be MWAH, perfection.
Coquette Aesthetic~
Now there isn't a guide that says skirts aren't allowed during winter..you just gotta add some tights. To make this outfit come to life there are few things that you need. A skirt. Cute boots. Tights. Scarfs. And sweaters. This kind of aesthetic is light and soft. Which means soft colors that make you happy. I would go with a natural colored skirt and a bright sweater combination. A skirt goes with anything, whether you want to wear just a sweater with it or go fancy and do some layering with a turtleneck and any zip up jacket. Don't forget a cute hair accessory just like the sleek back look was made for the street wear outfit, bows, headbands are made for this one (Obviously you can mix it to make it for your own touch). Now just put everything together and voila!
Winter is the perfect time to power on and keep motivated..with your outfits. For me, depending on what outfit I have is how my day goes. What we wear gives us confidence to take on the day, especially since winter can be tough for some of us, like people who have to deal with 8 months of snow. But that is why keeping your winter with fun new outfits everyday will distract you from sad winters. I love you all so much and I hope you guys have fun coming up with outfits!
